Revolution Wines: Vine to Glass Varietals
Revolution Wine, a full-service vine-to-bottle winery and tasting room, is located on P Street in downtown Sacramento. After receiving all kinds of varieties of fresh grapes from local vineyards, Revolution Wine presses them, ferments the juices and ages the wine in oak barrels on-site. Wine certainly doesn't get any fresher than that!
While Revolution isn't a wine bar, it does have a hugely-popular tasting room that patrons flock to on a daily basis. Wine tastings are open to the public from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Tastings are available by appointment only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
In addition to tasting the wine, Revolution offers a full line of varietals available for purchase by the bottle. Revolution's varietals include favorites like Grenache, Cabernet, Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio and Full Moon Rose.
